Lorelei Buckley grew up in Chicago and spent most of her childhood in libraries or at the shores of Lake Michigan breaking bread with wildlife. In fifth grade she won a poetry contest and from that moment on she knew she wanted to be a writer.
Following years of romping around in the land of entertainment she found herself in the holistic health field. She went to school in Santa Barbara, CA and became a licensed naturopath. Several of her articles on nutrition and the necessity of lymphatic cleansing were published.
This led her to an alternative cancer clinic where she assisted doctors with patient menus and detoxification. But losing battles with Death was exhausting. Soon she suffered from chronic fatigue and realized in order to save her own life she had to find another occupation.
One night out of curiosity, she went to a writer's workshop and instantly resonated with the idea of entertaining through stories. She braved the odds and gave it a shot.
Lorelei Buckley is best known for her paranormal romance novels, but she's penned works in almost every genre. Currently, she's a full-time writer living in Texas with her husband, two dogs, and too many *beloved* cats.
